Our Business

The largest regional offices are in the major towns and cities
of Norway. During the course of 2012, EVRY opened a new
regional office in Porsgrunn with responsibility for custom-
ers in the Grenland region - a local market that is worth an
estimated NOK 500 million and represents growth potential
for our regional commitment. EVRY took over the companies
Pragma Drift and Pragma Consulting in Kristiansand in 2012,
and this has strengthened our position in the Sørland region.
EVRY’s vision for its regional presence is that we will be close
to our customers, and we will be an innovative driver for
profitable growth and renewal for both businesses and the
public sector in the regions we serve. To provide the founda-
tion for this vision, EVRY’s regional services bring together
consulting and business solutions as well as IT operating
services specifically designed for the regional activities and for
small and medium-sized businesses. EVRY has also chosen to
combine the most popular services into its SMART concept,
which offers services and packaged solutions specifically de-
signed for the SMB market. SMART represents the best of our
experience and knowledge delivered directly to the customer,
offering speedy implementation at a fixed price to include
setup and training and with delivery either ‘at the customer’
or as a cloud-based service.
A key feature of EVRY's offer through its regional activities
is the offer of flexible and efficient IT operating services. One
example of this kind of delivery is the new five-year contract
with SINTEF that was signed in April 2012.
A major part of this delivery relates to data storage and
uninterruptible operations, which both play a crucial role
in supporting SINTEF's extensive research activities. EVRY
supplies operating services to SINTEF and other customers
from its data centre in Trondheim, which is designed to meet
very high standards for data storage, security and reliability.
Through the new agreement, SINTEF now has a supplier that
takes responsibility for operating the whole of its IT portfolio.
This gives SINTEF a single point of contact for the management
and follow-up of the IT services on which it relies.
One example of EVRY’s unique distribution network is the
EVRY regional office in Stavanger, which has more than 300
employees. The Stavanger office has had strong local connec-
tions ever since it first opened, and has achieved profitable
growth. In February 2013, EVRY’s employees in Stavanger
moved into a new office building centrally located at Forus.
From this location, EVRY intends to be an innovative driver
for profitable growth and renewal for businesses in Rogaland
over the years ahead. In addition to serving the local market,
EVRY’s regional office in Stavanger has nationwide respon-
sibility for the company's new focus on building an industry
vertical for the oil and gas industry.
A third example of strong ties with the local business com-
munity is EVRY Brumunddal, where we have around 130
employees. In 2012, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority
renewed a major contract with EVRY for the provision of IT
services to the Authority's 130 locations around Norway. This
contract renewal was arranged by and will be managed by
EVRY’s consulting activities with Brumunddal as the base
location. The Food Safety Authority's IT environment is also
located in Brumunddal. This contract confirms and reinforces
EVRY’s position as the leading domestic IT vendor, and is a
very important cornerstone for our regional focus in the years
to come. In addition to its responsibility for the local region,
EVRY Brumunddal has nationwide responsibility for a cloud-
based solution used by 800 customers throughout Norway.
Private sector
The Private Sector unit in Norway has 780 employees who are
responsible for EVRY’s total deliveries to this sector. Industry
vertical solutions and related consulting services are the key
features of this unit. Private Sector also includes separate
delivery teams for the major customers Posten and Telenor.
Many industries are experiencing greater competition and a
changing competitive landscape as a result of globalization,
cost inflation in Norway compared with neighbouring coun-
tries, and weak economic growth in the EU zone. Businesses
need to improve their productivity and create a more flexible
cost structure, while also working on business development in
the segments of the market that are showing growth.
EVRY’s vision for the private sector is to be a proactive partner
and contribute to greater efficiency, renewal and innova-
tion in Norwegian companies by offering a wide range of IT
services. EVRY focuses its efforts on selected verticals where
we can combine in-depth industry knowledge and business
insight with our technology expertise.
