Komplett Bank annual report 2019
can report both internally and externally, the latter through KPMG which organises the Bank’s external hotline. In 2019 there were no reports received. The working environment committee is a cooperative body whose purpose is to implement a sound working environment in the Bank. The committee consists of two members representing the employer and two members representing the employees and there have been two meetings in 2019. The committee participates in the planning of protection and environmental work and pays attention to the development in questions regarding the safety, health and welfare of the employees. The Bank carried out an employee survey during the autumn of 2019. It was a survey-feedback method based on the Job-Demand Resource model. The model indicates the Bank’s ability to develop a work environment that balances requirements and resources, providing the basis for a work environment that improves command of work tasks and commitment to the organisation as such. The results of the survey provided important feedback, which will be used to develop and measure changes to the work environment going forward. The employee survey will be carried out annually. Statement of corporate social responsibility Please see the separate statement of corporate social responsi- bility in the appendix to the annual report. Corporate governance Komplett Bank’s company management and corporate gover- nance focus on achieving the company’s strategic objectives. See the separate statement of corporate governance in the appendix to the annual report. Environmental statement The Bank does not conduct business that pollutes the external environment beyond what is common for banking operations, which inherently have limited environmental impact. Komplett Bank is fully digitised with products exclusively offered on the Bank’s webpages, which leads to low consumption of paper and transport. The Bank has not adopted separate guidelines relating to the external environ- ment, however, it is largely covered by the Bank’s business model. Other information The Board confirms that the Bank satisfies the going concern assump- tion. The Board is not aware of events after the balance sheet date that are of material importance to the annual financial statements. The Bank had extensive development activities in 2019. Among other things, these were linked to the development of tools that will contribute to the Bank’s present operations and future-oriented projects that it will be possible to realise in order to reinforce the Bank’s commercial position. In 2019 the Bank was one of several banks the FSA visited for an IFRS 9 - Financial instruments theme review. The review focused, amongst other, on the Bank’s loan loss model, the corporate governance related to the model and the note information presented in the Bank’s financial reports. The Bank received a preliminary report from the FSA in December 2019 and, as a consequence, changed the note infor- mation in the annual report for 2019 so that the Bank’s stakeholders receive an improved understanding on how loan impairments are estimated. A final report is expected to be published by the FSA later in 2020. However, the Bank does not expect any material changes to be made in the statement of comprehensive income or financial position following the final report from the FSA.
