The tax authorities in Norway disagreed with the Bank’s treatment of reverse charge for certain services after their control of the period January 2017 to April 2018. The Bank received a decision in August 2021 which concluded missing reverse charge amounted to NOK 2.2 million and extra tax and interest of NOK 0.6 million. The Bank disagrees with the tax authorities’ decision and has appealed to the Tax Appeals Board in Norway. The date for processing the complaint has not been set.
